0Inclusive Yoga Studio Hosts Open House
The Nkisoy Yoga Studio will hold an open house for prospective students from noon to 4 p.m., January 26, in Fort Lee. There will be free yoga classes, and refreshments will be served. This new, inclusive yoga studio attracts members from all proficiency levels and backgrounds. Owner Nicole Walker’s vision is to transform lives through a safe space. mindfully designed with inspiration, love and diversity.
Classes include props for modifications, movement at a slower pace and proper alignment with adjustments for all bodies. The studio provides private or group gentle yoga, mindful vinyasa, restorative and prenatal classes. Other offerings include guided meditation, chakra balancing, reiki healing and wellness workshops.
“Joining a yoga studio can be intimidating, and even stressful, and people sometimes feel uncomfortable and uninvited when first entering into a fitness space,” says Walker. She provides intimate, semi-private yoga classes that allow for a greater one-on-one connection to maximize the potential of every student.
